Our project –"Combining Europe with a Cultural Rope: EU-ROPE. Let us make a musical"-aims to develop the European awareness, enforces the European identity of partners and allows students to work in a collaborative and inter-cultural medium, using English as a common second language in real situations of collaborative production. The project looks for the connection between Eastern and Western countries as well as South and North Europe, through a well balanced team of partners from different cultures, backgrounds and religions.We will do it through a cultural link, a ROPE based on scenic arts, and on all those elements that the MUSICAL is made of, such as music –instrumental and vocal-, dance, theater, visual arts and the technological aspects involved in this genre, and in the communication in a multicultural teamwork, such as ICT. The students will learn and produce music, art and dance that will perform on stage. This will allow them to deal with the rich treasure of different music, dance, drama and art styles and to develop their creativity, which is inherent to the artistic work.This will be done through workshops to be held in the partner schools with the participation of teachers from all schools, and professional artists coming from different countries. The study and practice of those elements in such a context and on the net will provide our students with those features necessary for developing an European culture as communication, creativity, cooperation and intercultural understanding. In short, we will contribute to strengthen European citizenship trough an art based inter-cultural collaborative teamwork using a common second language.

El nostre projecte-"Europa, combinant amb una corda Cultural: EU-corda. Fem un musical "-pretén desenvolupar la consciència Europea, reforça la identitat europea dels socis i permet als estudiants treballar en un mitjà intercultural i col·laborativa, utilitzant l'anglès com a segona llengua comuna en situacions reals de producció col·laborativa. El projecte busca la connexió entre Occident i Orient i països del  Sud i del Nord d'Europa, a través d'un equilibrat equip de socis de diferents cultures, orígens i les religions. Ho farem a través d'un vincle cultural, una corda basada en les arts escèniques i en tots aquells elements que el MUSICAL està formada, com música – instrumental i vocal-, dansa, teatre, arts visuals i els aspectes tecnològics implicats en aquest gènere i en la comunicació en un treball en equip multicultural, com les TIC. L'alumnat aprendrà i produir música, art i dansa que actuaran a l'escenari.  Això els permet tractar amb el ric tresor de diferents estils de música, dansa, teatre i art i per desenvolupar la seva creativitat, que és inherent a l'obra artística. Això es farà a través de tallers que se celebrarà a les escoles  amb la participació de professors de totes les escoles i artistes professionals procedents de diferents països. L'estudi i pràctica d'aquests elements en aquest context i a la xarxa proporcionarà als nostres alumnes les característiques necessàries per desenvolupar una cultura europea com comunicació, creativitat, cooperació i comprensió intercultural. En definitiva, és contribuirà a enfortir la ciutadania europea basat en equips interculturals i  col·laboratius utilitzant l’ art com un segon llenguatge comú.
